Informed Choices: subject choices at school and college

Informed Choices is produced by the Russell Group. Students can choose a degree subject they are interested in to see suggestions for suitable A level subject choices. Alternatively, they may experiment with different subject choice combinations to see which degree choices this would open up to them.

National Careers Service

The National Careers Service is provided by the UK Government. Their website includes a large collection of job profiles and in each case users can see which qualifications are necessary for particular roles. The service can also be used by those who are looking to speak with a careers adviser.

UCAS has an events page where students can search for upcoming open days at different universities.

Prospects

Prospects offers useful information on career pathways, including job profiles detailing typical salaries and the qualifications and skills required by role type. There is a section on careers relevant to different degrees and a career planner and quiz.
