Recent data from the Department for Education shows that Black students are less likely to progress to more selective universities than White students. This webinar will provide an introduction to the landscape of widening participation for Black students in the UK. It will be presented by Laura Whitelock, Access and Outreach Officer at the University of York. Laura will be joined by some of York’s Student Interns, who are current Black students at York who will showcase their own personal experiences.
